Metalia.net privacy policy is to respect and protect its members privacy. Metalia.net
do not trade/exchange/sells any of its members informations for any reason. The
e-mail address of Metalia.net's members are by default hidden in their profile.
There is no way to find a member address unless the user, himself/herself, specified
he/she wants his/her address to be displayed in his/her profile. Only our members have
access to the members profiles.
Except the data of the Username, Location (Country) and Gender fields, which are not
supposed to be sensitive informations for the privacy of the member, all the information
about a specific user are hidden or not filled except if this user choose to provide
these informations to the other members. If a user choose to provide or display more
informations on his profile, it is by his own choice and Metalia.net is not responsible
for what other members could do with these informations. However, Metalia.net is
totally opposed to the use of its members informations for any purpose that is not
in direct relation with Metalia.net or unsolicited by the member.
If it is proven that a member uses other members profiles for advertising or any
commercial purpose, Metalia.net will take actions, in accord with the victimized
member to make his/her privacy rights respected. The only data that can be seen
by non-member visitors are the usernames of the members on the home page of the
website in the "Last logins", "Top users" and "Last members" columns. And these
informations are not considered sensitive or nominative. If a user uses his real
name as his username, this data becomes nominative, but Metalia.net cannot be held
responsible for this. The members choose their usernames and it is their
responsibility/choice to find a anonymous username if they want to remain anonymous.
Metalia.net is in no case a database of users to be used for advertising or spam
lists and we will fight any abusive data collection concerning our members.
Metalia.net has currently no connection with advertising businesses. However, if
the growth of the website is too important ant that its founders are unable to
pay the website's hosting and services by themselves, advertisement could be
added to the website. In that case, NO NOMINATIVE informations will be given
to the advertisers directly. Only a geographic distribution of the members,
with a percentage per country could be given, if asked. Some other infomations
could be, in that case, found by advertisers themselves with their own scripts,
like country where visitors are from, number of time they've seen a banner... But
there will be no possibility for the advertisers to know if the person that see a
banner is a member of the website or just a visitor and therefore, they would have
no access to your personal data.
